Things I wish I knew before I tried it

A lovely stay with exceptional cleanliness and friendly staff! The breakfast was hearty, with a generous choice of options, and the thoughtful touches, like fresh milk in the fridge for each room, were delightful. Prepare for steep stairs if you're on the upper floor, though, and make sure to arrange dinner in advance!

The place is pretty remote. you’ll definitely need a car to reach dining options or shops, which can be a hassle at night. The noise from the main road can be irritating if you like to keep your windows open while sleeping, and some rooms face the busy road directly. The steep stairs to upper floors can be challenging, especially for those carrying luggage or with mobility issues. There's occasional hot water shortages during peak shower times, and while the breakfast is good, some guests would appreciate more variety on the menu.

Had a delightful stay at this charming B&B! The room was spotless and had a lovely airy feel, and breakfast served decaf coffee, which was a pleasant surprise. Just a bit noisy with the window open, but overall a cozy and relaxing experience. I would definitely go back!

An excellent experience with a lovely, clean family room that felt like a cozy retreat. Fresh milk in the fridge outside the room was a thoughtful touch, and the breakfast, especially the Ulster fry, was simply delicious. the somewhat steep stairs might be inconvenient for some guests, and it would be beneficial to have more information available about local attractions. Parking was limited but manageable.

Clean room with flat-screen TV. Free parking was a plus. No pets allowed.
